Creative Wit was started by Sharon Wright who has many years experience of transforming thinking about the way the public sector works. She has wide experience in working with communities to give them a voice in policy development and delivery.
Sharon is a national expert on school design issues, particularly on : linking pedagogy and space; translating the educational vision into effective briefing documents; engaging stakeholders in the design process; evaluating school buildings; and on designing school buildings for extended services. She is a Senior Associate with the British Council for School Environments (BCSE). In addition, Sharon works on regeneration projects, engaging the wider community in thinking about their environments, and with senior managers to develop strategic thinking and is an Associate with Urbancanda. Previously Sharon spent 12 years in the Civil Service working on education and employment policy and was a Fellow in Organisational Development with OPM before becoming Managing Director of the not for profit company School Works. Sharon is currently researching for
a Doctorate in Education at Kings
College, looking at the history of
community schooling and is Chair of
Governors at John Perryn School in
the London Borough of Ealing which
is being rebuild as a Primary Capital
Programme pilot. |
